In this course, you shall adopt a thoughtful, critical position to global education by learning about strategies that can move your future pupils to think critically about global problems and promote positive values in the EFL classroom. Among other topics, we will discuss the use of diverse world literature and world cinema; the role of English as a global language; we will dive into the fields of general global education, ecodidactics as well as human rights; and we will look into ICC and transcultural learning to discuss bias, controversial issues, stereotypes, and diversity. |
