The "right approaches" of teaching play an integral part in the design of today's English language classrooms: they create a (post-)communicative language learning environment and are geared to enable authentic and real-life interactions amongst the learners. We will explore and review (practically) selected modern approaches to communicative English Language Teaching: from micro-approaches (mini group activities in a given phase of a single lesson) to macro-approaches (e.g. units of teaching in a task-based way). |
