This orientation week will serve to welcome you at the IN-EAST and UDE, to give you information related to your studies and exams, and to introduce you to staff members and lecturers at the IN-EAST and the university. Sessions also cover academic standards in research and writing in the German university context and at IN-EAST specifically.
Please note that planning is not finalized and this is only a preliminary schedule.
All MA students (CEAS and MEAS) starting with their studies in winter semester 2020/21 are required to attend the official Introduction meeting on Monday, while the other sessions on Studying successfully on Tuesday and the session on Academic Writing and Research on Thursday áre optional for MEAS students who graduated from BA MOAS but mandatory for external MEAS students and all new CEAS students.
