The mini-lecture will be based on the textbook: "Labour Economics" by Pierre Cahuc, Stéphane Carcillo and André Zylberberg, which is the standard textbook to teach labour economics at the advanced level (available online as an e-book at the library of the University of Duisburg-Essen). The course will cover the most important theoretical models in labour economics (see also outline below) based on the textbook and on the original research articles. The course will consist of 10 lectures and 3 assignments. If required an online-exam will be offered.
